 Does EXACTLY what it says!

$70? Seriously? $70!?!? Well, that is what this toilet seat cost, and I’m happy to say, it is a great toilet seat. Does everything American Standard says it should do! The slow close hinges work like a dream. Feature works on the rim by itself, or when putting the rim and lid down at same time. Just give it a little tap to close, and slowly but surely down she goes. Don’t even hear the seat when it is finished closing. Best feature though has to be the “snap off” lid. If you are a die hard cleaner like myself cleaning around the seat can be a pain. With this seat, just snap open the plastic caps where hinges are and pull. The whole lid, rim… The whole seat come off. Pretty nice feature. I’d give it five stars if it weren’t so expensive. Nice seat though, for sure.

An excellent seat for your throne

This is a very nice and high quality toilet seat, and let’s be honest. You will probably spend more time sitting on this seat than any other in your house.
It has several great features;
Number one for me is that it uses stainless steel bolts! Not those nylon-plastic ones. It took me longer to get one of those plastic bolt off my old seat than it did to install this seat.
It has an Antimicrobial additive in its surface that inhibits odor and stain causing bacteria.
It has a No Slamming hing, that keeps both the seat and the lid from slamming loudly in the middle of the night.
The hing also has snap releases so you can remove the seat for cleaning.
There are two cons to this seat, one, it is a bit pricey and two, I have had the snap release come off twice when I was just closing the lid.
But other than that, it is definitely a high quality product and probably the best toilet seat I have ever seen.

 Quality product with unique features

It’s hard to get too excited about a toliet seat, but this is certainly a nice one. The quality of the product is immediately obvious when removing it from the box as it feels quite heavy and sturdy. My sense is that the product will hold up nicely to wear and tear.
It also has a number of unique features. For example, the seat cannot be slammed down due to a dampening feature. The seat is treated with antimicrobial treatments to keep the germs off. Finally, the whole seat snaps on and off for easy cleaning.
The styling is quite traditional, but it’s a well constructed producted.
