The picture of this product shows chrome hinges. The product in truth has white plastic hinges. Of course Amazon accepted a return and salaried return shipping.

Poor quality

This product arrived with a chip out of the top edge of the seat lid (the imperfection was painted over for the duration of manufacturing). Also, the paint was chipped on the bottom of the seat edge. I returned it and am waiting for my refund. I would not buy this brand again. The quality is not what I would have expected from American Standard. Poor quality control.

sub par chrome hinge fails.

Hinge failed by fracture. So far have been unable to find substitute hinge at a reasonable price.If I have to replace whole seat it won’t be same brand.Seat in use less than one year.toilet seats
