Easy and worked!

Usually not one to write a review but this flush valve deserved it. Have a Amer Standard Champion 4 toilet. Installed in regards to 7-8 yrs ago. The initial Flush Valve malfunctioned (push on flush lever and not one thing happened), will not raise the flush mechanism (red gasket). Ordered this substitute valve: Fit right! Simple! You have to remove the tank from the bowl but was very simple. Large channel lock for the water supply hose and 1/2″ long socket with short extention are the only tools you need! Took possibly 45 min to an hour and I wasn’t rushing. Murphy’s Law was written for me but it never surfaced here. Pay attention to how things come isolated and where the new tank to bowl gasket goes. When tightening the tank back to the bowl – take your time! 12 cranks on the right bolt, move to the left bolt – 12 cranks, back to the right 5 cranks, then the left, then right, etc. Watch almost as the tank in the long run meets the bowl and STOP!! You feel more or less more resistance when they touch – STOP! Thats it! Read a large total of stories with regards to humans cracking the tank because they over tightened the tank to bowl nuts!
Also make sure to buy the Tank-to-Bowl coupling kit. You’ll need the huge rubber gasket. I also purchased the Seal Kit for this new valve but didn’t need it – BUT – I already have it if later on I need it if our hard water eats it up.
Enough said -go in front and buy it!

Champion valve replacement

Yes, this is the rectify alternate for the older Champion white plastic tower flush valve. I had to look it up to be sure. I received the new model flush valve on time and in new condition. I likewise ordered the bolt substitute package that came with the new rubber bolt sleeves. Wanted to be sure that not one thing leaked. The installation was EASY – no kidding. Just be careful to tighten the bolts evenly on both sides so you don’t crak the tank. I was pleasntly astonished that Amazon sells plumbing elements – great proudct and outstanding servcice as usual.

I couldn’t fine this product in our little town, so i went to Amazon ,got the product it was just as it was discribe, fixed my toliet, life is outstanding again, what would we do without Amazon !!!!! ?
