Custom building your own bench is easy when your do not need it to alter height. But, if you need to work at assorted height then purchasing a workbench is a good idea. If you buy a bench, undertake our a few and check them for comfort. Also check to see if it has adaptable height.

5Nothing but awesome!
By J. Brooks
These cookies are just plain amazing and I can’t believe that it took this long for a product like this to hit the market.

Use them for elevating your work piece off of the table so you may paint it, use your router on it, whatsoever you need. The no-slip base works awesomely on pretty much any and all material. Just make sure it’s free of saw dust or any loose debris and they’ll stay planted.

Rockler sells these as well and I must say that the blue ones they trade are much better looking then these, but plainly function the same (and are the same price).

If you are a severe woodworker, a novice, or even a beginner, these are a ought to have for anyone. Buy two packs and just go crazy!

Pros:
Securely holds and elevates your workpiece.
Cheap!
Take up very little space in your workshop.
Durable and well made.

Cons:
Orange and black color not all that pretty, LOL.

5Works Great!
By V. Pilkington
I have a couple router mats that I’ve applied for years before coming throughout these. I have a sentiment the mats will be rolled up and stored in a cabinet now. These Bench Cookies give you the added gain of height when routing a finish edge or plunge routing something out of the center of your work. I purchased 2 sets so if I want to do a lot of jig saw work I stack 2 on the corners and my work is elevated sufficient that I may work right over my workbench. The anti-slip surface works as well as my router mats. Something so simple that is so useful….wish I came up with the idea….

5Must have for wood workers
By J. B. Bradshaw
Wasn’t sure I would use these when I got them. I now use them each day particularly for supporting boards up off the ground while I cut them to size using a circular saw. I just went and got another set yesterday as well for larger peices of wood for more support. They in truth do grip well peculiarly if you have them on a slick surface like a painted garage floor. A+

Don’t buy them here though. Lowes has them for lower.
