Quite disappointed

I purchased this as a substitute for a Milwaukee cordless that could not be repaired due to elements being unavailable. Although both were in regards to the same price, this drill is not the equivalent to the Milwaukee. It is heavier and not as comfortable. The batteries do not hold their charge as long and it doesn’t have the power the Milwaukee. Obviously, a cordless tool is going to be employed outdoors. I had it less than a month and rust started to appear on the chuck. The keyless chuck perpetually loosens up which is a huge aggravation. The case it came with is fundamentally a throw away. I’d always had the impression that Bosch was a good brand, but this drill has actually put me off and I doubt I’ll look at any of their merchandise in the future.

I now own 2 Bosch 34614 cordless drills. I have owned a number of other cordless drills and there is no comparison. The performance and battery power curve makes life good in my wood shop. If you are tired of the old gradual slowdown of your current unit I suggest you get a Bosch.

I was looking for 14.4v cordless to replace my 14.4v Hitachi.I was looking for a drill with a 1 hour or less charge time,descent battery life and power. The Bosch 34614 fit the bill.It charges in 30 min.I’m altering batteries all the time and It has a great deal of power.I did a lot of exploration before purchasing and this was the best drill for my needs. I purchased this drill through Amazon.com because it was the best price and free s&h. I also received it in a very short time. I would unquestionably commend this product and buying through Amazon.com.
