Excellent bit

I use these bits to drill granite rocks in order to split them. They exceed to lifetime of other SDS bits by as much as 2x from my experience. The failure mode is normally the carbide is lost in the hole from a combining of binding and heat. The best lifetime comes from having a couple of bits and selling to a cold bit as the one in use becomes hot.

Amazon’s price, ~$10, is with regards to 1/3 that of local hardware stores making it a good buy.
