If you cut back on portions; smaller portion size leads to less calories being put in, the less you have to burn. Also saves money on food. Take your time eating. It takes 15 minutes for your tummy to tell your brain that it is full and stop eating, by then you could&#039;ve eaten way too much. 
Avoid empty calories like soda, candy, chips. They are tasty but hold nutritional value. Do not stop eating or starve yourself, your body will actually rebel and get scared thinking there is a famine and anything you eat it will save it. Eat more meals and  smaller meals that way your body will burn it instead of save it. Drink lots of water... cold water also consumes calories cause your body heats it up and uses calories to do it. 



If a gym is out; sometimes there are programs on TV that are on in the early morning and can be taped and watched and participated at in leisure. 
It is also free so no money spent there. 
If you can&#039;t exercise at a specific time just get more general activity- take the stairs, park far away for the extra walk.

Also... Laugh more... it takes more muscles to frown, but more calories to laugh. It is healtier too.</description>
