Not as described

I purchased this item for my motor home which has a big diameter tail pipe. The 3A exhaust tip is described as being 3 1/2″ by 4 1/2 inches. So, you would think that it would fit an exhaust pipe 3 1/2″ wide and would be 4 1/2″ long. Not so! It was designed for a car, and neither dimension is correct. The Amazon sales person was very good and got the distributor on the line with me, but 3A Racing gave me numerous crazy logic in regards to the size being dissimilar because the tip was oval shaped. It made no sense at all. All the other distributors I’ve ran into give the rectify measurements. I returned the tip to Amazon and purchased elsewhere.
