About Energizer
Energizer’s leadership in the portable lighting industry spans more than 110 years. The company started in 1898 when Conrad Hubert, a Russian immigrant, lit up New York City with the introduction of the newly patented electric hand torch or flashlight. Soon afterward, Hubert started out formulating flashlights, batteries, and light bulbs beneath the name Eveready. Hubert put his introductory flashlights into the hands of New York City policemen, resulting in high visibility and almost instantaneous success for his product. Over the years, Eveready’s engineering team introduced the tungsten bulb, made numerous switch improvements, and invented spotlights to project the light forward. Energizer’s dedication to flashlight and battery engineering took a significant step forward in 1982 with the opening of it is Westlake, Ohio, exploration and development center, one of the industry’s largest. In April 2000, Energizer was spun off as an independent company now known as Energizer Holdings, Inc.

5Very cool
By Rushmore
When my husband came home he grabbed this headlight to provide more reading light. However, I will be grabbing it back. I intended to use it for more light on my laptop keyboard but may see a multitude of other uses: more light on knitting or painting; back-up light in case of power outage; light for walking outside in the dark (the night-vision red light ought to be particularly utile here); finding something that rolls underneath the counter or radiator; etc., etc. It is light and comfortable to wear, and the light may be focalized to face forward or downward. This is one of those crazy little productions that changes your life in a little but substantial way.

4Excellent with Caveats

This is one of those things that you’d think there’s not a lot to say about. I mean, it’s a head light, right?
