Gerber Multi tool, is a product of Gerber Legendary Blades, which, is owned by Fiskars Corporation. Gerber has been manufacturing tools for over 70 years now. Since the very beginning, Gerber Legendary Blades has been into creating top quality products. However quality evidently comes at a price.

In today’s world, the Gerber ranks second in the sales of multi tools all over the United States. This is incisively because of the fact that it is invented using the best quality materials combined with highly cutting edge design. The cutting edge engineering science employed in the production of each Gerber tool makes sure that the merchandise are exceedingly efficient, user friendly and reliable.

Each Gerber tool comes loaded with numerous features The materials used in making each portion of the multi tool are of very high standards and there is not much space left for complaints. The blades are made using dissimilar materials to give it strength, lusture and longetivity. Materials such as 154CM, 420HC, 6061 Aircraft alloy, ATS34, AUS6 etc are used which are a mixture of respective materials such as carbon, chromium, nickel, manganese, molybdenum etc mixed in the perfective proportions to give you the toughest and the most robust products. Some of the alloys employed in the making of a Gerber tool are invented exclusively by Gerber. They follow the procedure of anodization in which a metal, commonly aluminium, is coated with a layer of oxide using electro chemical conversion. This routine protects the outer and the inner layers of the metal and saves it from abrasions, tarnish and likewise preserves the beauty of the tool for a longer period.

Every muti tool is made to go through a hardness test called Rockwell’s test. It is crucial to score amongst 50 to 60 on the Rockwell scale to pass the test. A Gerber multi tool comes with either a one year or a lifetime finish substitute warranty depending upon the user and the cause of damage.

Based on the things brought up above and also the tremendous work that goes into creating one of the best multi tools in the world, I think it is wholly justified for a Gerber multi tool to be priced on the more costly side as like I said “Quality comes at a price.”

5Light, Comfortable, Affordable
By Mimi
When my sister gave me these snippers, my introductory reaction was that they were too lightweight to be useful. Was I wrong! I grow a lot of roses, and this tool has become worthful for deadheading. It’s likewise great for cutting daffodils, tulips and narcissus for floral arrangements. It’s light sufficient for me to carry whenever I walk around the garden. Don’t be tempted to cut any woody stems; it’s rigorously designed for deadheading and pliable green stems.

5Durable yet light
By B. Hoff-Buck
This is the 2nd pair I’ve owned and these little snips last. The firstborn pair lasted 5 years and are still in use. They’re applied each and everyday at the garden center where I work and are the favored tool of all my co-workers. The snippings are lasting sufficient to trim everything from bedding plants to hanging baskets to shrubs (butterfly bushes) yet light and responsive sufficient to be without apparent effort handled by those of us with joint problems. The Fiskars little size makes it easy to trim out even the most densely overgrown plants and make deadheading Petunias a breeze. I’ve tried other snips by respective manufacturers and none have worked as well as these. The others have been too bulky, too heavy, too big for delicate trims and/or too tight in the hinge to be used comfortably. Over all the Fiskars Micro-snips are the perfective tool to clean up both houseplants and garden beds.

5I have stopped deadheading with my fingers!
By A
I love my micro tip, and I use it each day for deadheading and cutting flowers. I employed to deadhead my flowers with my fingers, and get green stuff underneath my fingernails (ugh!). I was right when I thought this would fill a void in my garden tool collection. The tip is very sharp, and it is very comfortable. It has an easy to use lock, which is handy to have around children.
