4Awesome Blade!
By D. Anderson
I have always been a fan of Gerber knives and this Covert is no exception. The F.A.S.T. (I don’t do not forget the acronym but it means assisted opening) design works very well. It is very safe with the lock/un-lock slide switch. The finish is nice but the blade has a little amount of wiggle. My least desired thing regarding this knife is that it is made in China; come on Gerber.

Overall, a very good knife for day to day use.

If you want a knife for personal defense I would commend either the “Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Covert or Combat” that come in around $100.00. These are both very solid knives that you could trust your life to and they are still made in the USA.

5Nice knife!
By P. S.
This knife seems to be well suitable for personal defense/offense, not utility. So if you’re looking for a compact combat related folder, you will be hard pressed to beat this knife! It’s smooth, lite, easy to operate, locks open, locks closed, not too large, not too small, and sexy black. I have big sized hands and it fits my hands perfectly. Nice knife Gerber!

5Great knife
By Excited
I looked at a lot of knives before resolving I wanted a spring assisted one and this knife was at the top of my list. After using it for assorted weeks I am very glad I got it. I comes very sharp and the handle is very comfortable. I was a little skeptic regarding getting the longer blade but after looking at it in the store I found it is very lite and you don’t even observe it in ur pocket. The spring aid is very fast, even quicker than a good deal of switch blades I looked at. The lock takes a good deal of time to get use to, with regards to a day if u in truth get use to it but after u do it works better than other locking blades. Overall a great knife and the price through amazon was the most inexpensive even with shipping I found.
