Did you want Coyote tan to go with that?

When I got my EOD MUT, it was encased in the Coyote Tan sheath. Odd. The description of the product (not at Amazon) said it included a black sheath. So, what gives? Apparently some of the MUTs were shipped with the tan sheath so you get what you get. Rather than go through the hassle of returning the whole thing and re-ordering elsewhere, I decisive to dye the one I had to black. Mistake. Even using a quality dye and following the instructions to a “T”, the results invented a for the most part black with an closely silver cover flap. I guess the quality of waterproofing is better than I thought. In any case, I then decisive to order the black sheath (as it matches what I attach the MUT to much better than the tan). Yeah. I added another few dollars to the price of the rig, but it was worth it. Same quality, same functionality and it mixes in now. Not wearing desert tan camo? This may be what you need.

Great tactical sheath…x-large is not that large

Great protective sheath that will not in an unintentional manner come open like the belt sheath that comes with your leatherman. I commend this big size for any full size leatherman tools. I thought this would also fit my leatherman bit set, but the sheath is too tight.

THIS ITEM WAS LISTED AS EXTRA LARGE , BUT IN REALITY IT IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE ONE THAT CAME WITH MY LEATHERMAN TACTICAL.
