Leatherman Wave Tool Leather Sheath

The Wave is the firstborn Leatherman to include access to the blades from the outside without having to open the pliers. The blades may likewise be opened with one hand, which is another first. I have to say that the Wave is one of, if not the best multi tool on the market. It is the result of years of design and perfection of the Leatherman product line. It is hands down the most general Leatherman and there is no question as to why.

Here is a list of all of the tools included in the Leatherman Wave Multi Tool:

As far as dimensions, the Wave is 4in or 10cm when closed. It weighs 8.5 oz or 241 g. The blades are 2.9 in or 7.37 cm in length. My conclusion is that it is huge sufficient to get the occupation done, but little sufficient to not be a hindrance when carrying it around with you.

In addition to all of these tools there are a few other features worth mentioning. First the Leatherman Wave Multi Tool comes with a 25 year warranty. This warranty covers any harm to the tool. This kind of warranty is a testament to the quality of Leatherman products.

Another feature of the Wave worth mentioning is that it has all locking blades and tools. What this means is that, for each tool on the Wave, if a tool or blade is in use you will be capable to lock it in place. This comes in very handy for what ever you are using the Wave for. From using the scissors to the knives, being capable to lock your tools in place is exceedingly valuable.

4worth the effort

arrived in reasonable time and good condition.

More than a little troublesome to get started with. Spent WAY too long attempting to get it snapped the primary time. 15-20 mins of straining and cussing. ALMOST threw in the towel and sent it back.

Patience won out, however, and I ultimately got it snapped. Now, after a few weeks, it fits like a glove.

1Poor design
By Snowhater
Too big to secure a Charge Ti. The tool flops around in the main compartment rather of being snugly held. Unlike the other reviewers, the snap on mine isn’t at all stiff. Taken together, these characteristics mean this sheath is a lost tool waiting to happen. If the main flap comes open, the tool will effortlessly fall out of the sheath with a good bump or by leaning over enough.

They could have put that extra space to good use by adding a second tool kit pocket, which would have permitted carry of a full Leatherman bit set. As it is, it fits only a single bit carrier.

All in all, gorgeous near useless.

I did not have any trouble. Started using it right out of the box, i am glad that the little side slot is huge sufficient for a little AAA flashlight.
