He liked that it was little and lightweight yet powerful sufficient to handle any task.

5great value
By RTfact
The drill was a bit gritty and had a scratch on the adjustment ring, but appears perfectly functional with great ergos. This replaces a 12v Makita hammer drill that was heavier. I have a Bosch driver for lighter responsibility and a Milwaukee 18v for high torque needs. These tools are light, wieldy and with any luck the Li ion batteries will not self discharge if I don’t use them frequently.

Sweet deal for 2 outstanding tools. I saved when it comes to $50 and am delighted with the tools at this point.

If you are in the trades, you will want the kit with the 451 drill and more prominent batteries. The 452 works outstanding for home obligation and the occasional Habitat for Humanity build. I hope to supplement this report as I get more trigger time.

3Reconditioned, Yes. Batteries – questionable..
By J. Lindeberg
Prior to buying this reconditioned set, I already owned this kit – I purchased it new and I will finelooking much tell any person who will listen how outstanding this drill and driver are. I’ve employed my set hard for two years, and they’ve kept up actually well. I ordered another reconditioned kit for my father in law, because it seemed like a good deal ($50 savings over the best deal I could find new in any local store) and the former positive review boosted my confidence. The reconditioned kit arrived promptly. The blue cloth padded case showed a good deal of wear and staining, which I don’t genuinely care about. I may tell the drill and driver have been exhaustively gone over – the tools I got look like new factory seconds – a few little scuffs, but no worse than my new set looked after an hour of use. The batteries shipped with the kit were another story. MY set of batteries (bought new) have dozens if not a few hundred charge cycles on them, and have taken their reasonable share of occupation internet site punishment – they look a little rough but they still work like new. Both batteries I received with this reconditioned kit badly look like they were set on a gravel street and kicked around for an hour or so. Nervous, I got on the phone to Makita right away to see in regards to sending the kit back, but after a half hour of being on hold I just gave up. I just can’t believe that these almost-new tools could perhaps have in the first place shipped with such mistreated batteries – that level of wear would have to show. The batteries DO seem to take a charge, so who knows? Maybe they tested okay at Makita HQ. Also, the charger that came with the reconditioned kit makes a whirring noise that’s noticeably louder (and far more grating) than my identical charger. We’ll have to wait and see if they hold up like my bought-new set has. Bottom line, I guess it’s genuinely just up to luck what they determine to send you.

5Makita lct200w
By M. Murphy
I purchased this combo from Tool King. They had the best price at that time. It included the drill, impact, 2 batteries, charger and the bag. Shipping was ok in regards to 6 days,as advertised. I expected to get a more or less employed set with scratches worn paint, etc. No. The bag was new. Both tools looked new except for the “factory reconditioned” stickers on them. The batteries and charger were closely new. It was a pleasant surprise. I’ve had it for with regards to a month now and I very satisfied with the whole package. This is my initial experience with an affect driver and it is awesome. Light weight and very powerful. The drill is great too. light, compact and powerful. I got the littler 1.5 amp batteries. They don’t hold a charge as long as I would like but they do recharge in with regards to 15 minutes. So that is not a problem. If you are going to do a lot of heavy work you will in all probability want to get the more spectacular 3.0 amp batteries. This is a great tool pkg and I’m glad I got it.
