very nice cordless grinder

i own rather few 18v lithium ion makita tools and this grinder is one that i in truth appreciate. after reading other reviews, i wonder who would buy this with expected values of it performing on the same level as a corded model? i do a lot of interior steel stud framing and i use this grinder to cut the heads off of concrete anchors and to notch light gauge steel. this cordless grinder is GREAT for that and has a lot more torque than i expected. keep in mind that i comprehend tools and i recognise that having cordless comfortableness means numerous trade offs. it will stall out if i get stupid with it…but i use it for comfortableness and i recognise to take lighter cuts with it and to go slower than i would with a big corded unit. this thing is impressive and it will do a lot. i employed it to sharpen lawn mower blades and it was great for that. i may also use it to cut by way of chain links and little bolts and items that are away from electricity and would be difficult to run an extension cord to. it’s a grat tool that may do a lot if you take your time and go slow on more spectacular tasks.

Very well built tool

This is a very handy tool. Works great. I use it very many times and can’t actually complain when it comes to it. It kind of goes through the batteries a little quicker than most of the LTX tools. Or perhaps what I will have to say is that it requires a more charged battery. In other words once the battery is down so far it doesn’t run this tool very well. But please perceive that I commonly am grinding off 3/4 inch stainless steel bolts or something of that nature. It’s still awful and outstanding for just in regards to any job.

18v Makita Cordless grinder

This tool is a dream come true. I do a lot of repairs where I need a grinder possibly to cut a piece of threshold, metal pipe or anything in between. The BGA452Z is just what is necessitated for this purpose. I found mine at HD … so, yeah, didn’t buy it here. But the point is, it does deliver, but be conscious is not going to be a heavy responsibility unit, it will cut out beneath heavy load. Light to medium responsibility is a safe bet. The batteries do drain quickly but for intermittent work, it will do.

Needless to say, it is a Makita tool and it works like one.
