Miele Parquet 2 Floor Brush Vacuums

Choose the color, choose the power of your Miele canister vacuum.

The Miele S314 Bagged Canister Vacuum gets top marks for cleaning up dog and cat hair. The S314 line are ranked at 1100 watts, have an airflow of 131 CFM and 100″ of water lift. The S314 is also equipped so that the usual filter (standard for Miele; it’s described as a ‘super air clean filter) may be substituted with a HEPA filter (a high-efficiency particulate air filter with charcoal, to remove 99.97% of atoms and microorganisms more prominent than .3 microns) for when it comes to fifty dollars.

The vacuum has a rotating electric power brush, which cleans edge to edge and works incisively like an upright vacuum cleaner’s beater brush by pounding dirt out from amongst carpet fibers, a much more inviolable effect that that of the Miele S314 White Star’s turbo brush. The S314 is equipped with an automatic cord rewinder, a 360-degree swiveling hose, a dust bag capacity indicator, and another indicator for motor heat, rubber wheels, and a parking system. Integrated tools include an upholstery tool, crevice nozzle and dusting brush; the smooth floor brush must be stored separately form the canister.

A speed control selector that slides back and forth for dissimilar power settings also distinguishes the S314, ranging from 250 to 1100 watts. A clean air filter ensures that the dust that enters the vacuum cleaner will not exit. The vacuum cleaner bag was designed to be double plied and self-sealing, so that when you replace it no dust will escape into the room.

The S314 is available in three colors-the blue, with a combining rug/floor tool for bare floors and carpets; the white, with a smooth floor brush and an air-driven turbo brush for rugs kelims; and the red, with a smooth floor brush, electric hose and power brush for pile carpets.

4Almost Perfect
By The Chevalier
The basi parquet brush with an even line of stiff bristles caught the dust but just moved larger debris along the floor. This new brush is a great redesign, perfective for hardwood floors. The bristles are spaced alternating high and low permitting the necessary airspace to capture more than just dust. The head rotates effortlessly for access to those difficult to reach places. However, it does not one thing but floors, and since most humans have a rug & floor combining it becomes just one more vacuum head that you have to haul around.

Don’t get me wrong, if you care with regards to your hardwood floors ,this is a keeper. I am buying another for my second vacuum cleaner.

Perfect would be a re-introduction of the original combining tool with rotating head that cleaned rugs and didn’t scratch the heck out of hardwood floors.

Although Miele purports to love communicating from consumers, they have never answered any of the emails I’ve sent proposing that they re-introduce the introductory combining tool.

5I am so glad I purchased this.
By Sunshine Regiacorte
I have for the most part hard wood and tile flooring. The parquet brush is so much requiring little effort to use than the combining carpet / smooth floor tool that came with my Miele canister vacuum. I save the other tool for my area rugs. The parquet brush is lighter and so easy to maneuver beneath beds and other furniture. No repents with this purchase.

5a ought to for hardwood floors
By mc
This brush is great, I would never use anything else on my newly refinished hardwood for fear of scratches. My only complaint is that it will have to have been included when I purchased my miele. The popular brush “for hard floors” with the metal bottom kind of frightens me.
