Love Me explores the insidious power of the international beauty industry and our collective insecurity, vanity, and fear of aging. In a series of compelling images, it reflects a world we have produced in which there are enormous social, psychological, and economic rewards and penalties attached to the way we look. We meet cosmetic surgeons, anorexics, child beauty queens, bodybuilders, housewives, porn stars, businessmen, and soldiers signing up for breast implants.

Zed Nelson is an famous photographer whose work has been published and exhibited internationally. Gun Nation, a disturbing reflectivity on America’s bsession with the gun, is probably Nelson’s best known project to date.
