Mayday Orbit

All the way back to the Persian Empire the region which now occupies modern day I ran has always been on the leading edge of innovation and scientific discovery. Today, Iran prides itself on getting a nuclear power, creating nuclear weapons, and exploiting the future of space technologies. In fact, Iran is planning on launching it is own communication satellites, and even in the long run putting people into orbit. Who knows, someday Iran and the Western world may settle their differences, and they may become collaborators in our global space programs.

There was a very interesting piece lately on Iran’s space exploration technology, and perchance you will take delight in this article which you may find on Space Travel Online titled; “Iran to Put Monkey Into Orbit” which was posted on April 21, 2011 and written by Staff Writers in Moscow. The article stated; “Iran plans to launch a monkey into space in mid-September, the ISNA news agency said on Wednesday, citing Iranian Space Agency head Hamid Fazeli. The monkey will be sent into orbit in a capsule carried by the Kavoshgar-4 (or Explorer-4), rocket, which was test-launched with a monkey doll on board in mid-March.”

Of course, no doubt that Russia is assisting with the space technologies and perhaps this will be a Sputnik type event, but what will have to concern a heap of is that Iran is also working on ICBM technology, much of it the same engineering science as space rocket tech, and Iran is simultaneously improving uranium. So, if this so-called space monkey transits over US Airspace, it will have to be a severe cause for alarm. The real issue is that there are just too a heap of technologies which may be employed both for weapons of war, and for scientific discovery.

Iran in the first place stated that it wanted to have a nuclear program strictly for power generation. However, at the same time they claimed to have stopped improving uranium to make nuclear weapons, when that routine of centrifuge enrichment had never stopped in the original place. This permitted them to proceed to enrich uranium for another four years without any individual giving them a hard time such as the IAEA, United Nations, European Union, United States, Arab League, and NATO.

One of the troubles with launching humans into space, or formulating rockets that may launch satellites, is that they may likewise be applied for Intercontinental ballistic missiles, and since Iran is creating nuclear weapons, that is a very bad combining for the rest of the world. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it, because it is a severe issue of our time.

NO MAN’S WORLD
When John Carter came to the Horakah Cluster, it was in the guise of an interstellar salesman. If any person there suspected he was more than that, it woul dmean instant execution.

– But Carter’s strange personality made it possible for him to put over the deception and even gain a visa to the forbidden central planet, an arsenal of space war factories. Of course, he had to make a good deal of special deals to do it, and these proved his undoing.

– For he found himself caught amongst two menaces: the tyrannical, militaristic moguls and a fantastically dandier threat from beyond the ends of space.
