1Hose Diameter Too Small
By C. Wilson
The initial thing to be conscious of is that the diameter of this hose is exceedingly small. This makes it totally unlikely to use with most sprinklers or watering systems. I’m guessing it’s 1/4 to 3/8 inch in diameter. Note it doesn’t list the diameter size here which is the most crucial thing to consider when buying a watering hose. Other merchants who sells goods at retail list the diameter as 3/8 inch which is to little for most watering sprinklers to work properly, which I came upon by trial. Average size hoses run from 5/8, 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter. The second thing is that the coiling wears out very quickly.

2Works OK but a good deal of things to consider
By N. Hastings
There’s not one thing defective with this hose, so far it works fine and the coils come in handy when putting the hose away. But do consider that it’s only 50 feet at it’s longest, and the further you move away from the house, the coils pull back considerably… just like a rubber band would. This staged a major problem when I went to fill up our inflatable pool the other day… ordinarily I put our old hose in the pool and I could walk away as it filled up on it’s own, but with this hose I had to stand there and hold it, other than as supposed or expected it would’ve sprung back towards the house from all the tension. Additionally, if you have a lot of winding pathways with delicate flowers in your hard, this is not the hose for you… as you perfectly cannot lay the hose down as you move in regards to the garden… it just is one straight coiled line from the house to wherever you stand. Be forewarned.
