30X illuminated Loupe

This Product is outstanding once you get it working. It requires 3 little button batteries ( $3-4 apiece ). The ones that came with it were dead and I assume they were there so you know what size battery to get since this unit is beneath $5 to start out with. When I basi opened the battery compartment with the particular tool that is provided a little piece of plastic fell out( Keep this piece !). At initial I dire that something was broken but I believe the piece is a tiny shim to make sure good battery contact. The loupe works outstanding and has a in truth good field of imagination diameter.You can`t beat this for beneath $5. I have ordered 6 more of these and the batteries all worked and the battery compartment has an bettered design.

Nice loupe!

I work with little things like wires, contacts and connectors. The loupe is of great help to review things and the LEDs at the bottom is a great feature since it is always hard to illumine things underneath the loupe.

The loupe structure is made of alluminum (the case) and plastic which makes it very light weight, but at the same time I’m not sure how lasting it will be with use.

40X Loupe

This Loupe is a good buy for the money. It says 40X on the device. I checked it versus another 8X loupe and encountered that in reality these are more like 12X. I purchased 4 of these and they all worked as described. The durability must be adequate to hold up for years of use IF YOU ARE CAREFUL WITH IT. The 3 little button batteries may be purchased for 10 – 20 cents EACH if you buy them in bulk on ebay (10 – 100 batteries at a time) I could not get the battery lid open (yes, I was turning it the rectify way) so couldn’t tell for sure what battery# you need. After a good deal of research, I am rather sure they are LR927. The loupe has a in truth good field of vision. There is, however, galore dust/plastic? molecules trapped amid the 2 lens parts on all 4 of mine. They are not noticeable when you are using the loupe. With shipping, these cost me less than $3 apiece, so I won’t complain to much. They are a dissent magnifier that will get much use from me.
