5Shop-Vac 6-gallon, another magnificent workshop vac
By C. G.
Bought this queer 6-gallon Shop-Vac for my Wood Pellet furnace which requires regular vacuuming and maintenance. The nice thing with regards to this peculiar Shop-Vac was that it included a HEPA cartridge filter as well as a disposable filter bag, both accessaries are utterly necessary for vacuuming ash and dust from a pellet stove or wood burner as the filter bag itself traps even the finest ash and dust particles.

I own 2 other Shop-Vacs (an 8 gallon and 16-gallon Contractor vac), and they both have lasted some years with no loss of suction performance whatsoever. I use the filter bags and HEPA canister filters with all of my Shop Vacs, no dust spray out the back, keeps the air clean. I find Shop-Vac brand vacs to be very authenti canister vacuums and have never had any difficultnesses with them.

The 6-gallon Pro Shop-Vac is yet another outstanding product, it’s comparatively small, without apparent effort portable, and has a powerful 3-HP motor which provides a great deal of suction power. Only assemblage is attaching the 4 wheels on the bottom, which takes a whopping 2 minutes. The motor unit clicks right on, and the disposable bag attaches with resolute determination to the hose inlet. This Shop-Vac also includes an accessory holder which attaches to the motor unit, a nice bonus for storing those extra hose attachments. It’s a outstanding little Shop-Vac for keeping my Pellet Furnace (Fahrenheit Endurance-50) clean and ash-free, and has a great deal of power for closely any vacuuming job. 5 stars for this one.

Bought this for my husband as a gift and it works like a charm! Sucked those pine needles right up! Love all the affixations that make getting into the crevices even more comfortable than the regular vacuum and it cleans the car like a breeze! Buy it … you won’t regret it!

5I would not be without it!
By C. A. Flann
Next to my upright vacuum, there two other cleaning implements I would not be without – my little shop vac and my H20 Steam Mop. I have owned the littler 1.5 HP version of this shop-vac for at least 10, utterly trouble-free years and use it almost daily. While buying goods for substitute bags, I saw this item and without delay ordered it. The 1.5 HP has proven to be a real workhorse. This one may only be twice as good! The 1.5 has power and suction. My primary reason for buying the 1.5 was to clean up kitty litter from my laundry room. Worked great – still does. Then I started using it to vacuum my vinyl floors in the kitchen, mudroom, powder room and lanudry room. What a gem! Drop spaghetti or rice on the floor? Forget the broom – grab this little vac. Spill the coffee grinds on the floor – pull out the shop vac. Does a finelooking occupation of getting up EVERYTHING. Makes using the H20 mop much better because you ought to sweep the floor firstborn before using the mop, of course. It is much having little impact to move around than my huge upright vacuum, and all the affixations for the upright likewise fit the shop vac. I even purchased a vacuum attachment made quintessentially for cleaning up pet fur and that fits the shop vac nozzle as well and works better. Used with the shop vac, this pet hair attachment is outstanding for getting fur from amidst furniture and versus walls, etc., and all the places and on all the things cats love to curl up on and nap. Gets all that fine hair and dander (that you can’t see) that loves to “migrate” into corners. It works fantastic on carpeting as well as furniture, and beneath cushions, etc. I think one of the reasons my friends with allergies are comfortable in our house is because this vac helps get up all that invisible dander. Cleans up all the dirt, sand and other little stuff the dog (and my husbands work boots) drag in. Nothing much escapes this little guy! Great to vacuum matresses as well.

The 1.5 HP has served me in a faithful manner and now that I have purchased the 3.0 HP, the littler one will be relegated to the lower level which includes family room area, craft room, and two storage rooms with cement floors. Great on cement dust! The new one will takes up it is station upstairs. It is easy to transport and lift if necessary. Attach an 25 foot indoor/outdoor extension cord and viola – it will follow you anywhere. Cleans refrigerator grates and beneath with ease; cleans dryer filter and surrounding areas with ease and gets behind the dryer, too; cleans tile floors in bathroom and gets up hair and dust in corners other gadgets miss; with attachments, fantastic for corners and mouldings; brush head cleans ceiling fans and above doors without dust falling on everything; cleans berber carpeting on stairs beautifully; even with each day use, bags hold a lot and lasts a long time. I even drag it out on the front porch and on the deck to clean up debris and pine needles that fall from the trees from our wooded yard. What’s a broom? Too much like manual labor for me. Gets all that little stuff out from amongst the deck floor you can’t get out any other way in no time at all.

Worth the cash ten times over. I threw away my Swiffer vac – sorry guys – didn’t cut it for pet fur. Nothing beats this little champ and the cash you save not having to buy alternate cloths recompense for the shop vac in no time. Never regretted adding this little workhorse to the family of shop vacs we aleady own. This is the one I use most and I genuinely would be lost without it. Today I ordered a alternate caster for the wheel I broke when I without advance planning dropped it (after 10 years!) and so it is hobbling around on three wheels – stil works fine! Hey, it’s a shop vac, I shouldn’t have to tell you the hundreds of uses you will find for it. After years of committed service and being together, I have jokingly given my 1.5 a name – R2D2. Looks just like the Star Wars character, doesn’t it? I undertake maintain my sense of humor regarding house cleaning!
