Great substitute filter for Craftsman shop-vac

As per an earlier review, I too have a 16 gallon Craftsman shop vac that utilizes a “red-stripe” filter. The vac is when it comes to 2 + years old so I was probably due for new filter. Even even though the measurements of this substitute filter are more or less dissimilar than the Craftsman initial filter, this alternate fit just fine, but did require that I use the primary cap from the old filter rather of the one provided so it could be secured the the suitable filter emplacement on the vacuum. No problem – it fit just fine. I am very happy with this product and would unquestionably buy one again versus paying an outrageous amount to buy one from Sears.

Fit perfectly

This fits “OLDER” model Ridgid Vac’s ( circa 1999). I had a hard time finding one locally so I checked Amazon and happened throughout this filter. Perfect fit.
