3Not rather as good as it sounds
By Charles M. Barnes
I was a little disappointed in this sight only because the advertising for it made it sound much better than it genuinely is. Granted it is much more glorious and more visible than the more mutual red lasers are but it is not as visible in full daylight as they lead one to believe. I was going to return it but then decisive to keep it because, after all, I had purchased it to be an help in a self defense situation. Since that type of thing is more likely to take place indoors and at close quarters and since it is very bright under those conditions I am hoping that if such a thing ever happens that it will be daunting sufficient to keep the shot from ever having to be fired.Should the imtimidation element not be sufficient then at least I would recognise that I am going to hit what I want to hit and in a panic circumstance that is invaluable.

5Better than expected!
By R. Maday
I have purchased assorted laser sights for both pistol and rifle use, and this is the most well-constructed unit to date. It allows a dismount and remount without losing your zero (without tools and one handed, too!), has 4 modes of operation, is easy on batteries, and hold it’s zero perfectly. In short: it is, in my opinion, the best rail mounted pistol laser out there. I would highly commend this to any individual giving careful consideration to a green laser designator.

5Worked outstanding on S&W M&P 9mm
By GP513
I am giving this 5 stars in spite of a great deal of introductory problems. When I firstborn mounted the laser I was unable to adjust the laser to be on target (was well off to the left). I called Veridian, they e-mailed me a shipping label that day, sent it back. Within with regards to 10 days it was returned and works great. Guy who said it wasn’t bright sufficient hasn’t viewed the competition. It may not be great in very bright sunlight but is much more visible than any laser sight I have seen. I also don’t grasp another reviewer who said that he wouldn’t bet his life on it. My accuracy is significantly bettered using the laser at the firing range. I agree that you must be competent to shoot your weapon without a laser sight, however, beneath the duress of a life and death circumstance I will take any help I may get. Just being aimed by a laser may be sufficient to throw an attacker off. I have only employed this a few times, I can’t report on battery life but so far it is OK. I commend this product.
