Effective and Convenient!

The primary thing you must know in regards to this thing, is that it’s not a two foot long piece of butcher’s iron. The whole thing in it is case (which has a handy pocket clip) is in regards to five inches long. The second thing you will have to know is that if employed properly, it is the quickest and most commodious way to sharpen anything from a kitchen knife to a bowie knife you’ll find.

The rod does ultimately wear down, but you may get replacements for the shaft and not replace the whole thing. I’m thrilled with this little thing, and happily give it five stars.
