The challenge was to fabricate a new breed of extreme fixed blades… suitable for today’s innovative military, competent night and day, wet or dry, and competent to be carried in a assortment of ways. But you might ask, what could perchance be new in a fixed blade? The Daggerts without apparent effort answer this question with contemporary solutions and have been tuned and tweaked for performance at each level. Who would have thought how far a fixed blade could come! The Daggerts are a well thought out finish package. The only thing left for you to determine is which size.

Still nice even though made in Taiwan.

I was disappointed to see this knife was not made in USA. (Taiwan) Factory edge is very nice. Blade is thin so I would not work it too hard. Not too thrilled with the sheath, but I do like the belt lock more then I thought I would. My main complaint with regards to the sheath is the knife does not fit too well in to the sheath unless it is lined up just right. Then the sheath has a locking set up to hold the knife in place at the quillion/guard. I guess in the event you are upside down and do not have it clipped in..? Well removing it from this setup is difficult at best and I have to hold the sheath in place to yank it out. Over all I like the double sided edge, which is factory very sharp. I use my blades in now and then wet and at times dirty environments, so time well tell how this one will hold up. The real truth is would I buy it again, probable not. It is a nice addition to my collection.
