Overheating modem needs 2-3 restart a day!

I purchased this unit because I like to have not so long ago introduced productions when I am buying a product. Unfortunately I must have picked a more robust modem as this one is not working properly. My original modem would need to be restarted each 3h so I ask for a new one. the new one also needs to be restarted 2-3 times a day. The modem is burning hot which could be the reason of the difficulties but as it is, humans ought to not buy this product.
I give 2 stars because it could be potentially a nice modem once Trendnet fixes it.
