Nice piece of equipment, but a few potential problems.

I was looking for a bridge that didn’t require much thinking to set up and had multiple ports. This productions fits the criteria very well.

The box comes with the Wireless Bridge, 2ft ethernet cable, ac adapter, CD (not sure what’s on this, didn’t use it), and an instruction manual.
The instructions were easy to follow, possibly 10 steps. As long as you recognise your wireless security type and password the set up is as easy as 1,2,3. Probably took all of 5 minutes to get everything set up and my parts connected to the internet.

The idea with this product is that if you have more than one device that is internet competent (Xbox, PS3, Blu-Ray player, DVR, TV, etc), but don’t have integrated wireless, that you may connect them all using a single hub.

So far it has performed well. I haven’t experienced any problems.

Update:
I’ve had this product for roughly two months now and I’ve only had one problem. At galore point, the bridge stopped connecting to my wireless router. I reset the bridge to the default settings (there’s a reset button on the bottom) and went through the setup procedure again. I haven’t had came across any troubles since.

Update June 4:
Well, now that I’ve had the bridge a while longer I am routinely having to reset it. Every 10-14 days the bridge stops connecting to my router and I have to go through the re-install process. As such I’m dropping my review from a 5-star to a 4-star. It still does what it says, but it unquestionably isn’t a single time setup. With that said, the setup procedure is exceedingly easy, so a 4-star seems a decent compromise.

Great for Netflix movies

While there is software with the device, it is not necessitated for basic functionality. Just plug and play on Windows 7 systems. The throughput is more stable than my wireless N router.

Great bridge for the price

Highly recommended, straightforward to set up, and works fine after setup. Following the instructions, set up worked fine. If the computer you use for the set up is presently connected wirelessly to your router, you just need to be careful regarding setting IP addresses in the proper order so that you don’t lose contact with the bridge or the router for the duration of the setup. Once set up as a bridge, the unit has behaved flawlessly when moved to a dissimilar location, and with multiple gadgets connected to it. I presently use it to stream Netflix videos, and videos from other online sources, and have not noticed any performance issues. By building the switch into the device, it saves me from having to use a discerned distinguished switch to connect the 3 appliances I use, TiVo, computer and DVD player. I tried assorted other brands before this, and this was one of only two that worked as advertised, and the only one with the build in switch. My only quibble, why did they only use a 100 Mb switch rather of a Gb switch?
